Submission Guidelines
Chinese Journal of Urban and Environmental Studies (CJUES) is a peer-reviewed journal, it uses a double-blind review process, in which both the reviewer's and author's identities are concealed from each other.
CJUES welcomes contributions on urban and environmental and related issues in any nations or cross national context. It aims to be interdisciplinary in scope and accepts contributors from a wide range of disciplinary perspectives.
The types of papers:
Research papers;
Book reviews: introduction and review of new published books within the area of study;
Information: call for papers, information of relative conferences and events, etc.
Submitting papers:
All submissions to CJUES are handled electronically. Manuscripts must be submitted to CJUES' e-mail: cjues@cass.org.cn.
All papers submitted must be original works which have not been published previously and must be submitted exclusively to CJUES.
The front page of the manuscripts should have the title of the paper, and the names, affiliations, e-mail addresses and fax of all authors. An abstract and a list of keywords should be enclosed. The version should preferably have been produced in a standard Windows word processing system, and should preferably be sent by e-mail in a Microsoft Word file.
Submission of a manuscript shows a clear understanding that the manuscript is not under consideration for publication with other journals.
Depending on the nature and content of the manuscript, either the Editor-in-Chief will send the manuscript to an appropriate member of the Editorial Board who will send the manuscript to competent reviewers. Based on the recommendations by the members of Editorial Board and the reviewers, the Editor- in-Chief will make final decision on acceptance, rejection, and revision of the manuscript.
Once the paper is accepted, the author is assumed to cede copyrights of the paper over to World Scientific Publishing Co. Pte. Ltd.
A pdf version of each published paper will be provided to the author free-of-charge in lieu of the offprints.
References are to be listed in alphabetical order using the last name of the first-named author. For more details, please refer to the attached.
